How to start SQL SERVER using Command Prompt (sqlservr.exe)

How to start the SQL SERVER using Command prompt :

The following steps are very easy to connect ” SQL SERVER ” using sqlservr.exe

step1: open the command prompt. {goto start–>run (or) press “windows+R” key and

type  cmd click enter button it will display the command prompt.}

step2: Change directory (cd) to where sqlservr.exe file is located in corresponding directory.changedirectory

step3:If it is default instance simple execute/run the “sqlservr.exe”.

step4: If it is named instance to start the SQL Server using the following synatx:

                Syntax:   sqlservr.exe  -s  <instance-name>

         Example:  sqlservr.exe -s  mssqlserver
